Sending your proxy to the Finnish Union of University Professors
For an employee, direct withholding by the employer is the most convenient way to pay the union membership fee. Once you issue a proxy to the Union, your employer will withhold the membership fee directly from your salary and transfer it to the Union. You may print out and fill in the proxy from the file below. Please scan and send the proxy to the union via email: mia.rikala (at) professoriliitto.fi.
You may use Securemail to encrypt your message containing personal data. The Union office will take care of delivering your proxy to the employer. Any attachment should be in jpg, png, pdf or tif format. The use of the encryption link requires registration. Upon registering, you will receive a message to your email address containing a personalized link to the service. The link is valid for 10 days at a time.
Union membership fees are tax-deductible. The Union will automatically provide the tax authorities with information on paid membership fees.
