Akava Works has published a study "Gender distribution within higher education administration". The research data confirms our concern about the state of equality in universities and women’s career opportunities in upper management positions, says Tarja Niemelä, Executive Director of the Finnish Union of University Professors.

The General Meeting of the Union in Helsinki has been moved to a larger location. The lunch before the meeting at 12pm will be at the previously announced location, Marski by Scandic. The Meeting will take place at 1pm at Scandic Helsinki Hub, address Annankatu 18. There will also be a post-meeting Cocktail Event at the Helsinki Hub.
