Meeting of the Board of the Union on 7 November 2025
The Board of the Finnish Union of University Professors met on 7 November 2025 and, among other things, approved and decided to submit the Union's Action Plan and Budget for 2026 to the Council for approval.
At its meeting, the Board of the Union
- approved the Union’s Action Plan for 2026 and decided to submit it to the Council for approval
- approved the Union’s Budget for 2026 and decided to submit it to the Council for approval
- chose Professor of the Year 2026, the appointment will be announced on 15 January 2026
- took note of the Union’s statement to the Culture and Science Subcommittee on the state budget proposal for 2026.
